Welcome to Knitlanders, where we are devoted to low-cost, easy ways to live green. We believe that living green improves your quality of life as well as the planet’s. We’re all about mutual benefit – ways to make you happier, more productive, and feel more alive that also help us move toward a more sustainable society.
We’re looking forward to sharing sites, tools and tips to help you live green.
Why “Knitlanders”? Our family always has called my husband and me “knitlanders” because of our penchant for knit hats, sweaters, scarfs – which really is just an indicator of our love for the homemade, high-quality, and heart-infused, where ever we find it.
We think there are lots of folks like us, who want to live well, live lightly on the land, and value craftsmanship and connection.

Link to others–I’m thinking about the Quaker Intentional Village–not so far away from Brattleboro–qivp.org; but there are undoubtedly others as well. QIVP posts their newsletters, which have lots of articles about green living, of one sort or another.
I like the mini-image of the linked page that goes with the links. The whole blog has a great look to it.
